ryce Palo, who has years of experience in nearly all of the trades, has owned and run Palo Homes, Inc. for over 17 years. Although Bryce is on the job sites every day and his expertise runs to the “nuts and bolts” portion of the business, he is never too busy to assist his customers in making the everyday decisions concerning all the design choices that must be made during the construction of a new home. It’s this “cover every base” concept that confirms his reputation for superior craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Pleasing a customer stems from Palo’s dedication to finding the very best for each of his homebuyers. He frequently attends builder’s shows, seeking out the best and brightest of the new products and materials available on the market – products that he hopes will not only improve a home’s appearance, but also help to reduce energy costs and possibly even reduce maintenance for a homeowner.

Palo’s commitment to quality means commitment to improving not only his homes but also his processes. So after the home is complete, Palo spends time with each customer and asks if there is anything that he could have done differently or if there were any processes they would have liked to see changed. These simple conversations help him learn more about his industry and the special clientele that he is trying to serve.

alo Homes has been recognized twice with the prestigious “People’s Choice” award for construction entered in the Livingston County Cavalcade of Homes Show. Winning this award is a reflection of the heart, hard work and dedication it takes to make unique and appealing dream homes. Palo will be happy to tackle any aspect of building or remodeling, but his passion is custom homes, and he has now added custom log home construction to his portfolio.

Palo’s homes average 3,200 square feet and the company builds between 5 and 6 homes annually – a number geared specifically by the desire to control quality – a Palo Homes trademark. Palo Homes will continue to build at this rate, fueled by Bryce’s love for building and the satisfaction of seeing plans evolve into a finished structure – the most rewarding part of the job for him. “When it comes together,” he says, “it’s really gratifying.”
